The year is flying by and its September already. This month along with October are the most enjoyable for us as we get set to see plenty of Humpback whales start to the migration back down to Antartica. The water is still generally calm and clear during this period and makes the kayak tours ideal. Plenty of bottle nose dolphins feeding around the point and large turtles spotted frequently also. I’m still blown away each time I get to experience a Humpback whale pass by on tour, it’s an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
Learn to surf has been popular through winter with the point producing perfect beginner waves for first time family’s and travelers to the area. We are pumped and keen as ever to get as many visitors in the area to experience our learn to surf adventure at Double Island Point these holidays. Just a wicked time of year to be out on the ocean!
If your still wondering what to do for the holidays and you haven’t experienced Double Island Point then come on board with the Epic team for an adventure that’s an absolute must do if your visiting Rainbow Beach or Noosa.
