Your private tour guide and 4×4 vehicle will pick you up from your accommodation in Noosa or the Sunshine Coast on request. From there, you’ll be taken through the Great Sandy National Park along the iconic Great Beach Drive to Double Island Point, where you can spend the day enjoying the beach, ocean views, wildlife, and shallow warm waters.
Aquatic activities, picnic lunch, snacks, refreshments, and a CoolCabana beach setup are all included for a relaxed and comfortable day out.
It’s a laid-back, memorable experience that families enjoy together, with plenty to keep both adults and kids entertained throughout the day, making it one of those trips that stays with you long after you’ve returned.

“We wanted to spend a day on the water and looked at all options like whale watching, kayaking up the river etc. but they all seemed poor value for money. We lucked upon these guys on an internet search. Score! This trip was the best day out ever. They packed so much into one day. We had a private tour with Jake - he was SO good. He related so well to our teenage kids and us. Professional and personable. We took a fun trip up the beach, stopping to talk to fisherman and hunt crabs. We were in awe of the scenery. Then we kayaked off Rainbow beach and we're chased by dolphins, had two whales breach next to us, saw manta rays and turtles.... it never stopped. Then after lunch Jake taught us to surf. I wouldn't believe it but we all got up on the boards in our first outing. These guys are the best and should be on every travelers list of must-do's. Thanks Epic.”
“My wife and I went on a kayaking tour with Vince at Epic Ocean Adventures. Vince took us out to the ocean and parked us at an allowable distance from the humpback whales and dolphins. We were lucky that they were curious about us and came to check us out and we had the closest encounter ever with them, which was super cool! It was a truly unforgettable experience! Vince’s calm manner and clear instructions were reassuring when we had to navigate our kayaks out to the ocean. He’s also incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife and pointed surrounding ones out to us during our bus ride, which we would’ve missed otherwise. “We thoroughly enjoyed our nearly 8 hour tour with Vince! He’s a fantastic guide with a great deal of experience and knowledge around the Noosa ecosystems and surroundings. He accompanied our little one in the Kayak and looked after her really well! Thanks Vince! Epic have put together a fantastic package that involves a 50km 4x4 bus tour from Noosa through to the most pristine waters at Double Island point from where we began our kayak adventure. Throughout our 4x4 drive on the beach “National highway”, we saw nearly 50+ humpback whales. While kayaking we got lucky and experienced close encounters with these giant mammals along with their calves. It was surreal! Overall we must’ve seen close to 100 whales (few very close while kayaking while others from the bus) throughout the tour! All in all, we had an “Epic” adventure and would highly recommend it to anyone still on the fence about it.”

“Vince, our guide cum driver was amazing… he made the tour such a pleasant experience. We saw couple schools of dolphins (would say probably close to 40-50 dolphins), several sea turtles and huge manta ray. It’s was spectacular. We are a group of 2, my 6 year boy and myself. Vince took good care of us and make the kayak absolutely enjoyable. The drive along the beach is very scenic. I would strongly recommend the tour if you are up for some little adventure, yet safe."
