Epic Surf Lessons Noosa is our surf school located in Noosa Heads.Take the ultimate National Park surf adventure at Double Island Point, home of Australia’s longest and safest wave. This right hand sandy point break has rides on it’s best days well over 1km long in the pristine tropical water within the Great Sandy Marine Park!
This exclusive Noosa surf lesson safari takes you away from the surfing crowds of the Noosa points and beach break surf schools in our specilised custom built 4WD along the beach of Noosa North Shore. Experience very small group surf lessons on super fun long waves in a pristine National Park with friends and family that will make your progression rewarding and fast.
Our surf lessons are ideal for all levels and ages from 6 years up.
Double Island Point
The surf lesson location of Noosa’s Double Island Point is off the beaten track and hidden from most visitors heading to the usual Noosa points to surf. A unique beach drive through the Great Sandy National Park is the only access to this secluded location well known amongst locals as “DI” and a hidden surfing paradise. Double Island Point features a pristine headland and a long sandy point break with waves that seem to go forever.

Our Noosa Surf Lessons
Our Noosa Surf lessons are in Ideal waist deep tropical water with friendly instructors that are highly experienced and fully qualified to get you surfing and having fun in a safe, uncrowded National Park environment. Each surf lesson our surf instructors will ensure you are progressing well and up and surfing fast with individual guidance in technique adjustments and improvements and most of all having fun whilst learning. We guarantee that you will stand up on your first surf lesson!
Epic Ocean Adventures run Noosa surf lessons and programs for all surfing levels and depart daily to Double Island Point. If your not a complete beginner and looking to progress further with your surfing, we have fully accredited surf instructors with all the technique guidance you need. From learning how to ride the nose on a longboard to more advanced short board training.

Please bring what you would usually bring to the beach e.g: towel, sunscreen, water, camera, change of clothes. Some extra food is recommended.

What time do tours depart?
Departure times from Noosa Heads vary daily and are generally set around the low tide to access the National Park & Double Island Point on the beach. Specific day departure times can be seen by simply selecting the day in the booking calendar here.
Where do I depart from?
This tour departs Noosa, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast at either of the 3 main pick up points below. Please meet 15 minutes before departure.
- The J Noosa (Theatre) 60 Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads (Good all day parking & best if traveling from outside Noosa). Map link drop pin please meet here.
