Double Island Point

Double Island Point is a marine park surf location only accessible by 4X4 vehicles through Noosa North Shore & the Great Sandy National Park. Double Island Point features a pristine headland and a long sandy point break with waves that seem to go forever. The location is well-known amongst the Noosa locals as a “hidden surfing paradise”. The empty waves are some of the easiest most satisfying waves you can find. You have the opportunity to ride waves of 100’s of meters long.

This location is not easy to find for most visiting Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. That’s why the surf is uncrowded, compared to the busy Noosa points. Many of the local and migrating wildlife can also be experienced on this surf adventure in the crystal clear waters. Turtles and dolphins often feed and play in the shallows of the surf break.
