Welcome to Epic Ocean Adventures premium eco kayak tours, back to nature and into the wild with the Noosa Dolphin View Sea Kayak Tour. Double Island Point is accessed via the Noosa North Shore and Tewantin cable ferry, with a thrilling beach drive experience in our custom built specialised 4X4 vehicles within the Great Sandy National Park.

Double Island Point has some incredible natural features including the crystal clear waters of Honeymoon Bay, towering coloured sands and scenic K’Gari (Fraser Island) views.

During the thrilling drive along Noosa North Shore’s Teewah Beach on your kayak tour adventure spot a variety of spectacular local and migrating bird species including the Brahminy and Whistling Kite, Eastern Osprey and enormous White Belly Sea Eagle often perched high or soaring above the towering coloured sand cliffs. This is also a great opportunity to spot Humpback whales close to shore on the drive from May to November.
Then explore the magical Marine Park at Double Island Point the eco way on our fully guided sea kayak tour taking in the pristine natural environment and often home to local and migrating wildlife including large bottle nose dolphin pods, humpback whales (May – November), six of the world’s seven marine turtle species can be found here as well as manta rays, sting rays and soldier crabs sometimes in their thousands.
There is no experience required for this fully guided sea kayak tour, it’s beginner friendly, an ideal location and suitable for all levels from 6 years up. We may allow children from 4 years on request basis on the general tour, the private tour is also a great option for smaller children or private groups. Please contact for further information.

I and 3 friends went on the 4WD Beach Adventure with kayaking in Noosa and it was so much fun!! Nick and Sam were amazing guides, they were super fun and engaging, and told us everything about the flora and fauna we came across along the drive up to Double Island point where we got on our kayaks to try to see some wildlife. We saw some manta rays and then Nick told us how to surf the waves on our way back to where the van was on the beach, which was so so so much fun to do!! 100% would do it again and recommend this to anyone staying in Noosa ♥️♥️

We had a great time doing the kayaking trip. We felt in good hands at all times with Tyron our guide and the experience with the dolphins and what we saw of the whales was incredible. What a day. We have just returned from the dolphin kayak tour. My husband and 2 kids aged 10 & 8 went. Nick was an awesome guide – very knowledgeable and friendly and a great sand beach pilot. The tour was everything as described.Fun driving on the sandWhale spotting from the 4wd windows en routeKayaking in a beautiful bay where we were fortunate to have a what + calf pass by 10 metres in front with an escort of dolphins.If you have kids be prepared to do a lot of paddling it does require some fitness.Well worth ithe tour!
Truly an epic ocean adventure. Went kayaking with my partner on our holiday here. Beautiful location and really great staff. There wasn’t a whole lot going on in terms of aquatic life for our tour, but Vince was a really good guide and found ways to entertain us with stories about the land and geographic information.Highly recommend
I had the absolute best time with Tyron and Nick who took out a group of us out four wheel driving the beautiful Noosa North Shore and kayaking. We saw a highway of whales and had the most magical day. Thank you xo
From time of booking to the day of our adventure, communication was excellent. Commentary on the trip up the beach was interesting & the rainbow beach was a beautiful place to arrive. Kayaking with a big pod of dolphins was exciting, especially the number of calves but the humpback whales were the highlight of our day. They were so quiet & graceful especially when they swam under our kayak! Tyron, his 3 year old daughter & assistant Gabby hosted us well – it truly was an ‘Epic Adventure’.
It was an awesome day out with Vince and his trusty copilot Kirsty (?). Saw the local bottlenose dolphins playing in the water which was just amazing. Vince is very knowledgeable and deeply passionate about keeping the environment and wildlife safe. The drive along the beautiful stretch of sand along Noosa North Shore’s Teewah Beach was quite an experience – first sandy Highway I’ve ever been on with accompanied speed limit sign posts! One thing to note for anyone with motion sickness especially in the water. You are kayaking in open sea and will have moments where you stay idle in wait and watch for any passing marine life. It is recommended to take seasick pills before going into the water. I didn’t think I needed any seasick medication and wasn’t well enough to take pics or I’d post if I had some.
The Kayaking with Epic was so much fun! We saw a few turtles and many wales. Tour guide Vince was really funny and he tells you everything about nature and animals. I will come back for another kayak tour! 🙂
I did the day trip to double point island yesterday and had an awesome experience! The drive on the beach spotting kites and other wildlife was gorgeous. Then the surf lesson with Pearce was fantastic, spotting breaching whales and dolphins and catching awesome waves! Thank you
Wow just wow! this was the best day – very smooth right from booking through the whole day.Absolutely stunning, pristine scenery up to Double Island Point. Great local knowledge from Tyron about bird and wildlife. Kayaking was the best, crystal clear waters, dolphins, whales, turtles and stingrays seen.Got to be one of the best organised things I have ever done. I am honoured to give a review to firstly, our epic hosts/guides – Cam & Ty.The loveliest, most genuine guys who made the trip awesome from start to finish. They provided the perfect amount of commentary about the migratory birds, Noosa River, fauna and flora, villages and beaches – not an ongoing infomercial as in some tours.Their passion for the region and environment was delivered in an unassuming and gentle way and it was clear that these guys not only love their work (why wouldn’t they!;) but that they care about the environment, and are custodians of the land and ocean.Driving through beautiful Noosa we crossed the Noosa River on the ferry and learned about the ecosystem and flow of the river before setting off across a spectacular some 48km stretch of multicoloured sands, sighting white bellied eagles, kites, campers and fisherman along the way.Not an easy fete navigating that sand but Ty’s decade+ experience ensured we got there safely.The weather was perfect and when we reached our kayaking/surfing destination, the guys kitted us out with wetsuits and life jackets and Cam gave the kayakers instructions before setting off to give surfing lessons. Ty pulled the kayaks into the ocean and off we went.Sighting dolphins is something one never tires of and Ty’s careful instructions to the group ensured that not only did we see plenty pods, but that future kayakers will be able to do the same. Ty’s knowledge ensured he knew where the pods were headed and we followed.The water was perfect in every way – calm, clear, azure and sublime. My first sighting was something truly amazing – a dolphin jumping up and spinning in the air. We spotted a couple of whales in the distance and then, to our sheer delight, a calf, which was particularly special. Heading back to shore took additional effort as we paddled against the wind but it was worth the effort for sure.For those kayakers who needed help, Ty & Cam were there to provide it to ensure everyone got back to the shore before making the last 2 legs of the journey – crossing 2 lagoons, where we saw a turtle – to the van which was waiting on the pristine shores to have lunch (BYO).After lunch, we headed back and CamHanded our packets of crisps and tim tams ‘for your hard work and effort’ and the guys took us all safely back to the pickup point.Cam & Ty both have a calming, assuring, positive (but not over the top) presence which did not waiver the entire time.We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be returning with my oldest daughter. This is a must-do experience. Whether you’re travelling solo or with others, you will absolutely love it. One of the few unspoilt, peaceful and serene destinations – utter paradise.Don’t forget sunscreen, sunnies, water and a good brekkie for stamina.Ty took pics and shared them so you don’t have to worry about getting your phone wet, although a go-pro would be handy! My family of four (2A, 2C 10 and 12) had an amazing day. Tyron and Sam were very welcoming and did a fantastic job of making sure everyone in the group of 16 or so had what they needed. Tyron provided fantastic commentary along the way – he really knows birds! I would definitely recommend this trip. A really great day out! We saw dolphins, whales, turtles, and a sting ray. Plus some beautiful eagles and kites. The kayaks were steady and easy to paddle.

Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience – our host Nick was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. The star was obviously the environment and the wildlife – within minutes being on beach, spotted spray of whales & eagles.. then in kayak we were blessed with several pods of dolphins & more spray from whales! More sea turtles & birds seen as we cruised over the sand so very special. Thank you for a spectacular day!

What a great experience with our adventure guides! From the get go, we were greeted with warm and enthusiasm, setting the day for an epic day. On the way to our kayaking location, we were educated and amused on all our guide had to share (amazing knowledge) and every bit of wildlife or ecosystem that we came across; it would be mentioned and explained. Even if we didn’t come across any dolphins, turtles, rays… (but we did) you would of appreciated the journey there. And at last we kayaked through beautiful epic waters and seascapes. Our guide were so knowledgeable, they knew how to pinpoint and anticipate the sea life. This wasn’t just a job for these guys… you can tell it was their passion. The best kayak, sea-life experience my wife and I, have had. Thanks guys! 10/10!

Such an amazing experience. It was early in the season though we still got to see dolphins and whales. Tyron and his team picked out the pods quickly so even on the journey to Double Island point we were treated to sightings. The team were very skilled in what they do and supportive the whole way. I would highly recommend treating yourself to this adventure.

We had an absolutely magic day on our Epic Adventure. Our guide, Nic, did a great job wrangling 7 50+ women on kayaks!!! He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and his beach drifting had us all holding on to our seats. Suzie’s lunch wraps hit the spot during our beach picnic. Highly recommend booking a private tour if you are a large group. So much fun!

It was an amazing experience from booking the trip as there was an excellent communication(Tyron) to having an awesome and fun tour guide (Nick). It was not just informative but also entertaining. We did not see dolphins which was understandable as the sea creatures are unpredicatable, however we were able to spot 3 turtles which was great. Nick made us feel safe all throughout the journey, especially when he reassured 2 of our members who did not feel confident with the waves. Definitely recommending you guys😊
We took the Learn to Surf and Great Beach Drive day trip with Epic Ocean Adventures. This was definitely a highlight of our 1 week stay in Noosa. Our instructor Vince was awesome and his enthusiasm was so infectious. He had us all riding waves by the end of the lesson. Added bonus was the wildlife including turtles swimming around us as we waited for the next wave. This is a must do trip on any Noosa holiday.
If you haven’t been out with Epic Ocean Adventures, you’ve probably missed one of the best things in Noosa. We had a totally epic day with Vince who is the ultimate guide – knowledgeable, entertaining and all about the fun for his travellers. Our family of four had such an awesome day on the 4WD/kayak tour. The ride up the beach was relaxing with some good tunes and informative commentary on the local wildlife. After kayaking and floating around for about an hour we spotted our first whale and then it didn’t stop! We were lucky enough to see a baby humpback up close, along with many other whales and dolphins. Such an amazing experience – wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Professional operation from payment to pick up and drop off. Heading down North Shore to Double Island point on the beach was an Experience in itself with our knowledgeable guide chatting about the birdlife and rock formations. Paddling out to sea on the double kayaks was easy even for those in the group who weren’t paddlers and then just floating with the wind and currents accompanied by Dolphins with the occasional paddle to keep up with them was just so beautiful. Thanks guys my wife and I loved every minute
We had a great morning with Tyron, will never forget the beach at Double Island Bay! Had our 9 and 6 year olds along and managed to see dolphins, whales , tea turtles and kids loved the experience of driving on the sand. Definitely worthwhile!!!

Tyron was an awesome guide. Very knowledgeable of the areas we drove through and Double Island Point. The journey to Double Island was smooth as, we got to see some wildlife (whales, and birds of prey). The actual kayaking was awesome, saw a small pod of dolphins and then a second larger pod of dolphins. The kayaking was very well organised, no stress, a very chilled out and relaxing experience. Great day out with fantastic friendly guides. Very different experience driving up the North shore along the beach. 20 minutes to get to the other side but a million miles from Hastings street. Pristine, remote and beautiful. Kyaking for 2 hours is very relaxing rolling over the the rising and falling swell. Beautiful views everywhere, lots of dolphins and turtles. Today’s trip was our second time this year and we loved every minute of it. It was another outstanding experience with Tyron and Paul kayaking out to what felt like our own deep blue ocean dress circle. The drive out along the beach highway is so spectacular, with lots to see and learn along the way. Kayaking alongside so many glorious dolphins was certainly a highlight. You’ll be dreaming of dolphins tonight, Paul said. I’m sure I will. My only regret was coming in to shore way to early as the group who stayed out a bit longer ended up seeing whales breaching right next to their kayaks. Incredible! We will be back again next year for sure!

Tyron at Epic Ocean Adventures was a great, accommodating guide for the Kayaking with Dolphins event.The pick up, drive out (shoutout to his excellent playlist) and set up was super casual and easy. Tyron is keen to chat and share info with all.Once we were in the water it wasn’t 5 minutes until we caught up with some dolphins. Our group was great and the only downside was a few jetskis coming in too close and upsetting the wildlife.Definitely worth doing if you’re interested! Thanks Tyron!

This was an amazing experience. Both of the guides Tyron and Vince were lovely and obviously very knowledgeable. They knew exactly how to approach the dolphins and clearly have a passion for animal welfare. I’ve never been so close to sea life before. It was a excellent experience! Beautiful weather and beautiful staff. Tyron told a lot of history and stories about noosa. It was so fun with him driving on the beach. He also could see wild animals from far far away! Double island point is gorgeous. We saw sea turtle, dolphins, and even whales! You can’t imagine how close we were to those huge creatures! That was a excellent experience and we definitely will be back again.
As locals, had always wanted to do this tour and so glad we did. It was a magic day and we hit the jackpot. Dolphins, turtles and a whale siting on the drive home. The birdlife was amazing too. Lance was a great relaxed yet professional tour guide. His knowledge of the area and wildlife was amazing. Aaron was a friendly co-guide and did a brilliant job on his first day of the job.
Vince was a legend! And Aaron was amazing on his first day. The tour was informative and we thoroughly enjoyed it for my partner’s birthday. We saw some great wildlife on the way and Vince was so knowledgeable about it all – The Australian David Attenborough. Tyron was super informative about the area and wildlife, and made us feel super comfortable way out in the water. My friend and I aren’t confident with swimming if we fall off to the ocean and unsure if we can paddle properly, as we are almost beginners, however we had a great experience with Tyron who supported us a lot and gave us an opportunity to see dolphins on the water! How amazing is that? We also loved going on the sandy beach by the bus, the view was spectacular. Definitely recommend this, thanks Tyron!
