Japanese whaling starts again soon

Japan killed 333 minke whales in the Antarctic during its 2015-2016 whaling season. Japan has killed 333 minke whales—including more than 200 pregnant females—as part of last year’s Antarctic whale hunt, according to the country’s Institute for Cetacean Research.
