Epic fun day at Double Island Point with year 5 and 6 from Gympie South State School. Such a great afternoon with such an amazing group!

We picked up the crew at Carlo Point and brought them up to Double Island Point for some beach fun. The tide was still pretty high which made the beach drive a real adventure with lots of obstacles. The kids loved it!

We saw a lot of turtles and even a sting ray. We played some games in the water, using the kayaks and a stand up paddles and we did a surf lesson. This group was very talented on the surfboards and we are sure most of them are hoping to find a surfboard under the Christmas tree this year.
