COVID-19 BUSINESS UPDATES
UPDATE: 8AM 02/06/2020
A Restricted Access Area has been declared and released by QPWS for Cooloola and Double Island Point via the DES website. This means as of 9am today with written approval for restricted access area together with vehicle access permit visits will be allowed. As a commercial operation we have not yet been notified of what this means for us but will be seeking advice and clarity today on a possible earlier start to tours. Restricted Access area from our understanding gives QPWS the ability to cap day use in the interest to public safety. More updates to come very soon.
UPDATE: 01/06/2020
The easing of QLD restrictions today is great news for tourism and businesses across the state and we are super exited to be close to tours again. We are currently able to offer surf lessons at Rainbow Beach and hire equipment. Unfortunately we are still waiting on the Great Sandy National Park Cooloola section and Noosa North Shore (includes Double Island Point) to open. This is scheduled to open for commercial and recreational users on the 12th of June even on the decision of todays early ease of restrictions. The feedback we are receiving on why this area has not been lifted as of yet is due to being classified as a high use recreation area and is in the best interest of public safety. Any decision to open earlier by QPWS we will be sure to let you know.

If your super keen to join us on tour from the 12th of June you can book now to secure your spot for the holidays. See you all very soon 🤙🐢🐬🏄♀️
